KaamWala Privacy Policy
Updated: 13 September 2026

KaamWala connects customers with local workers. For privacy, support or deletion help, contact kaamwala.online@gmail.com.

Data we use
We store your name, phone number, account type, profile details, password hash and account recovery hash. We also store jobs, bids, reviews, reports, messages and images you choose to upload. We use this information to provide your account, show relevant jobs, arrange work, support conversations and investigate reports.

Location and photos
You can enter a city manually. If you allow location access, we use your location to find nearby work and can attach it to jobs you post. Other workers see approximate job coordinates and your area; the hired worker can see the detailed job address. Photo access is used for images you select. Do not upload Aadhaar, financial information or other government identity documents. Optional skill certificates are accessible to your account and authorized administrators.

What other people see
Signed-in users can see profile names, skills, portfolio photos, reviews and active job details. Your phone is shown on a job when you select the call contact option. Messages and chat images are accessible to the conversation participants. Authorized support administrators can review relevant messages and images when investigating a report. Phone numbers are login identifiers and are not verified by SMS.

Service providers
Render hosts the service and MongoDB Atlas stores account data and images. These providers process data to operate the service. We do not sell personal data. This release does not serve ads or process in-app payments. We may disclose data when required by law or to address abuse and security incidents.

Retention and control
Account data is kept while your account exists. Sessions expire after seven days and temporary sign-in rate-limit records expire after about 30 minutes. Delete your account from Profile > Delete account, or use the public account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, credentials, uploads, jobs, bids, messages and reviews from the active database. Another customer's job may remain with your worker assignment removed. Provider operational logs can persist under the provider's retention practices. Copies already saved by another person cannot be recalled.

Security and recovery
Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Native apps store session tokens in secure device storage. Keep the recovery code private; it is needed if you forget your password. Contact support if you cannot access your account. We verify ownership before acting on an emailed deletion request; do not email a password or recovery code.

KaamWala is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
